Hey Ryan, no you mean "too good it's all coming to an end!", it means that either people will trade their cars in for the 5.5 twin turbo ones and you get the car cheaper, or that the depreciation on them will be in your favor, and that it might be a collectors item...that is the way I think...
I thought about talking my mom into getting the E63, but, the E350 is very much her speed.
BTW, there is new video of the M1 being test on the 'Ring, and this is with black and white swirly camo on it and CSL style rims. It's about 2 mins long and has very good sound quality.
MB as long as BMW owns Rolls Royce, chances are that there will be a V12...
Did you see that the Ferrari 599XX got a 6:58 on the 'Ring?
True, the depreciation on AMG's in particular are ridiculous!! My friend picked up a 2004 E55 AMG last year for 25K. It had only 40k miles. He's added headers, ECU, and some minor work to it already. That thing is CRAZY!!!
Come to think of it Parker, if the C63 gets down to 25-35K, I'll definitely find a good condition one and build it to about 500 rwhp all motor. I can see it now, black on black, or white on black, blacked out grill, coil-overs, HRE wheels, carbon splitters, carbon diffuser, eisennman race full exhaust, delete resonators, pulleys, headers, intake, ecu work, etc.....
I saw the 599XX, all I can say is, anyone that does a time like that is insane
Anything 7.40 or under is already impressive and borderline suicidal!!
Also the M1 looks like it will be in production. Like you said M does indeed stand for "marketing," but the M1 should be a beast. BMW will definitely make sure it won't be the M3 though.
