oooooooh I adore Pylons.
I once found a Tom Dixon Pylon Chair in the rubbish (next to a skip in fact), carried it home and had it in the garden growing ivy up it for years and then when I found out what it was, I had it done up and I sold it at Christie's for £8thousand something in 1999. Yes, £7,650 after sellers fees. I had to call them twice before I was able to sit down, the estimate was £700. Some museum must have bought it, it wasn't a copy, it was one of his originals.
I bought this purple i-mac with that money.
