I may start sleeping on the floor wth just a couple of pillows for my head

Apparently it's great for your back

Think of the space you would save by not having a bed!

Anyone got any experience?

Yeah lying down on the floor can feel good sometimes. The only problem would perhaps be neck soreness after a while but that could very well be solved with a decent set of pillows.

I sleep on the floor more than my bed. I've always preferred it. My friends used to call me Crocodile Dundee and my wife gets upset with me for it.

Yes I did it for about 6 months.

I think it made my neck bigger too

Only problem is, it makes it very difficult to get up especially for early starts

I slept on the floor for a while but then I moved on the bus and subway, this way I could save money on the rent.

so to me sleeping on the floor is not hardcore enough

i also red the anecdote on how he used to sell cigarettes as a child on the street and when he visited a detention center during his presidency he saw someone being tortured and he instantly commanded the guards "get your hands off that man!! and let him out!", it turned out to be a man that used to buy cigarettes from him on the street.
