Why are you doing so many reps on the bench?  Is it because of this injury?  Why not try really slow tempos, that should achieve more for each rep.

Just a word of advice.. if you want to improve on the legs wear shorts to the gym on leg day and also put squats in pounds for motivation. ;)

Why is your squat so disproportional to your other lifts?

My squat is horrendous too, I have not squatted in years (and even then it was probably only a handful of times).  I went from quite a lot on the leg press to having trouble squatting 100kgs (all the way down)

Ego went out the door that day :)

Front squats, going all the way down, will help you with the form on regular squats.

You'll never see a Olympic Weightlifter with shitty squat technique.

John Goudy: 3rd Blood.
« Reply #120 on: October 01, 2006, 12:40:40 PM »
I have been a way a long while focusing on somethinmg which i may be good at though not excellent...Powerlifting . Won a bench competition and have qualified for the World Champs. I expect to get my ass handed to me as it is not a drug tested federation but a well at least i can say i was there.

Anyway this is the start of my new section which i will update as per usual with my pics and weights i lifted. videos will also be included via youtube as this suits most people. however the quality of pics and vids is much much better. For 9 weeks the weights will be modest and training may seem daft though i do have a plan so bear with me folks. Pics and videos starting tomorro. Once again i appreciate all your comments questions and criticisms

Goudy.

your routines are idiotic.....go pick up a M.D. and read all the routines and pick one that you like best.......it will help a lot.   also....it looks retarded to have such big front delts with such a small chest and tiny side/rear delts.... i suggest you stop training them and start your shoulder day supersetting shrugs and rear delts untill they are both fried to the max, then do a few different movements for side delts..   then on chest day pre exhaust with some flys and stick to dumbells because right now im sure your front delts are doing all the work.

see Candidate, not to flame but thats your problem.. You take what is written in the mags as gospel... I believe 90% of the routines published in flex or MD or for that any other mag as b.s. my two cents.
