I'm surprised that a guy who was as dominating as Schwarzenegger was in bodybuilding, doesn't have more video footage of him training. outside of the Pumping Iron movie, very little footage of him training exists.

They took still pics of him because they could present it to the public via magazines. In those days there was no youtube and other such media available to the public. Where and how could they present videos/movies to the public during that time? And if a private citizen showed up at Gold's following Arnold around filming him for private use would be frowned upon.
