In the last two, Sergio posing almost as guest poser shape vs Arnold in a competitive shape ? At the 1973 MI ,Sergio was not in maximum shape, preparing as Arnold for M Olympia. There he challenged Arnold to compete against him but he refused. Arnold came there to win that seemed an easy contest. It was on the presentation poster. After Sergio's unexpected appearance, Weider told to Arnold to not compete anymore. Or at least to pose as guest poser for the public. Arnold preferred to sit down, refusing Sergio's challenge and the desire of the audience. I understand you're a fan of Arnold, but ..be fair

The Mister International promoter Eddie Sylvestre, said that he took a private dinner with Joe Weider on that occasion,. Joe said then that he has invested too much in Arnold to accept the risk of losing an contest. So, whatever the shape of Sergio, he would not have won anymore an contest against Arnold.

Sergio and anyone, he would never have won against Arnold. Because it must be! Sergio won in 1972, having a superior condition, his best friend Franco told this to Arnold. Even Arnold said he did not deserve that.. the 72 title.

The rest is history. Sergio will be disqualified and suspended after 73 MI and Sylvestre will no longer have the right to organize the competition for IFBB, going after to the Lurie's WBBG. Joe's revenge was on measure.

No problem, on forums , various websites, post anyone who thinks that they know many bodybuilders. For some it's hard to make a difference between Mentzer and Viator just because they have the mustache. I have seen mistakes in the big magazines made by people who are paid for their work. Others confuse frequently Callard with Denny Gable..
