Ahh.. yes, Dorian had a better bodybuilding back than Arnold. Nobody disputes that. It's just silly to post shopped pics of Dorian's back. The real pics are crazy enough.

Not my intention to post shopped pictures. Just grabbed what i found on the net, and yeah Arnold is the best from the front, Dorian is the best from the back.

Lol .....flows and lines. What is he a river? You can have Arnold with his big chest and big biceps and his flows and lines. To me anymore he looks unbalanced. Like i said Arnold was great from the front, and he knew how to hide his weaknesses.

unbeleviable how some of you put arnold down about his body compared to yates or anyone nowdays. did you know arnold was in the 70s? early 70s at that( except 1980) the judges were actually looking for everything combined not just size. if arnold wanted to he could of been 300 lbs in contest shape. would that of won him titles? no. judges were not looking for that. hell zane beat him once and arnold was like 60 lbs bigger so he changed and became more ripped( but a healthy looking ripped) he was huge but in proportion. he was taller too. these guys at 5 ft 6 weighing 300 lbs are clowns. but the judges are awarding them titles. like i said arnold if competing today with his mind set and strive to be the best would probably be 350 lbs . he could of had thighs like platz or a back like dorians etc in his time but that wasnt gonna win him shows. he came in complete . he was a perfect speciman in the way of art and sculpture. he was athletic and could actually run swim play sports and walk without gasping for air. comparing him or anyone else from the golden era to todays guys is just crazy. its apples and oranges. the younger guys on here and in the gyms have no clue what real bodybuilding is or was. they just want to get big. period. looking for easy ways like synthol etc take drugs the day you start working out and lots of protein powders etc. lol. what tools.

Arnold was great in his day. I remember it well, heck I heard enough Bout how he looked from my friends older brother who used to train at Golds back in the 70s when Arnold was still there. The thing is people on here keep him on such a high platform claiming he was the best ever. That no one person will ever be as good as he was ......ever. That if Arnold had today's drugs he would still be better than anyone else. Seriously he is not a Greek God. He is just a man, yes a well built one with great genetics. Yet there have been others come along just as good. Even in Arnold's era, Serge Nubret comes to mind. He got robbed so Arnold could win, so did Sergio. Arnold is not perfect, never was. He did have one heck of a build no doubt. After all, if Arnold was so infallible then a few pictures of another champ posted in comparison should be no problem then right?? It's only when the posted picture of another champ is so fucking good that it stings right?

no one is perfect nor is anyone a god. the thing with arnold is he would do whatever it took to win. period. his mind was by far his best body part.workouts would kill most people when he trained hard. he had the mental focus and discipline to win. period. were there better bodies in his day? maybe. bodies are subject. it all depends on what type you like. nubret had a great body. no calves though. sergio probably had the best body or potential of anyone. more so than arnold. even ferrigno probably had the better genetics over arnold. but neither one could use their mind to get them there. hell even if arnold wasnt in top shape his confidence and stage presence and charisma just made you believe he was. other didnt have that or still dont have that. so yes arnold would win today. or yesterday or tomoro. he has the mind to do it. he wont fail.

Arnold also had Ben and Joe Weider behind him to rig his Olympia wins. screw over Serge Nubret and screw over Sergio. Arnold had a strong will, so did those men. Yet they where scripted out so Arnold could come in and take the title. Same as 1980, yes for the most part he had to show up in shape at least so it was not obvious, but every one knows the truth. Arnold had help and lots of it from the powers that be. He was never a winner just because he wanted to be. Others in power wanted him to be a winner as well.
