Maybe you should claim to be a Syrian refugee. It should be looked at as a plus, and the "aggravating nature" charges will be viewed as "cultural differences".

the guy was cool to talk to, not a usual uptight border person
He just said way too many charges, especially assault. Said I could try a waiver but would probably still get refused.

Border patrol saves the day for chaos getting ko'd  :D

Would they have access to your records at the border?

I mean, you have a passport and there's no requirement to apply for a US Visa from Canada.

So can't you just show up, show them your ID and come on in anyway?

This is what the passport is for.  Those computers they have in the little booths are not just for show.

What I'm saying is that if I come to Canada, the Canadian government doesn't have all of my records... The US government does, so coming back I have to deal with it, but not leaving.

At least in my experience.

its funny, 100% of the people I know said its better off I cant get into the States
