Good physique Moose - nice old-school pics! 8)
Obviously you know your weak spots (quads and hams) but a good contest physique nonetheless and props for posting pics - you'll find that the guys who will make fun of your pics are the ones who are too scared to post their own.
Peace.

Showstoppa:
Funny thing is, I remember around 1988 at my prime and about 24 yrs old I was actually on a used car lot and was going to buy an Iroc-Z, but got pissed and left because the salesman was slow getting to me.
I also remember eating only about a piece of salmon a day for a month in order to get ripped (talk about sorry-assed, stupid diets), and probably would have torn his head off if he'd helped me anyway!

Pete hurt his back pretty badly....trains light now only; Joey unfortunately had a stroke, but, knowing his tenacity, probably still trains.
Yeah, Mangum (he spells it "Magnum; but its really "Mangum") still has that huge chest.

Great stuff, Mike. You look great in these shots and it chronicles the fact that you stayed in shape for so many years. That takes a lot of discipline which someone can only relate to if they've competed. Plus I can relate to the fact that you've done it enhanced and natural. Excellent!
-
Thanks my friend.
You know how important LONGEVITY is, in any endeavor.
You can't be a 'one-hit' wonder, in bb, business, or life.
I am going nuts here at Yale. Hopefully home soon,
Mike

With my nephews, and God Forbid I ever put this on the Gossip & Opinion board...how dare I wear Under Armor and spandex...while eating birthday cake! I am leering at my nephews because they saw humor in appearance... :)
-
Look great in these shots. On hip most muscular shows a lot of muscle density. The other has a surprisingly wide lat spread.
-
Very nice, Classic shot here. I can relate to this because I shared the same experience of being inspired in my mid-teens by Robbie, Zane, Arnold, Mentzer , Coe and then actually getting to train with some of these guys. Then in the 80's, getting into contests myself during the days of Haney, Gaspari, Platz..going to those Olympias. Definitely a special time.

Very true, and thanks for the kind compliments, chem.
Yes, we are very blessed to have these experiences and exposure to many of the all-time greats...too bad those days ain't gonna come back...but its up to us to make these days special as well.
