in short and without writing a book...its happened 2 me 2ice in the last 3ish yrs...one recently..

girl flirts with me at bar
girl says naughty things 2 me
girl asks for me to come 2 her place

girl and i drink wine and talk...

girl in so many words after some conversation says " i cant do this...jay i like u too much now to go thru with this"

in short...we drink some more..cuddle...i get dropped off at my car in the morning...

i've asked my guy friends without viable explaination

what gives??

It may be that the girls were lonely and wanted companionship but nothing more. It could be that they were testing you to see if you would go through with messing around and once they realized you would they backed off (seeing if they had the power).

Unlike many guys, I would say the majority of girls don't just want to hook up and if they do have feelings of regret so a thrid possibility is they wanted to but realized it wasn't for the long terma dn therefore wasn't worth it.

Try to meet girls outside of the bar and you may have better luck, if you are actually interested in a girl get her number (don't take her home) and take her out. Your chances of going somewhere are much higher...

I think they are testing the waters so to speak..if you act like a gentleman in some ways they will back away but not pull away..just go with the flow..try not to analyze it..women are nuts..

That only happened to me once (whilst in college).

So I said, "Ok no problem, I'm just going to take a shower."

I stripped down slowly facing away from her (TEASE!!!) and walked into the bathroom and showered. I waited a looooong ass 5 minutes, but sure enough, she joined.

She is a tease to say the least, however maybe two to three more 'cuddle sessions' and you may have some success. But you know, thats what I would do.
