So I did my first ever injection into my peck and I was a bit nervous as I always am when ever I hit a new spot. I did not go in the entire length of the needle (1") I was only in about a 1/4 of the way. I didn't feel like I was in the muscle. What happens when you don't inject IM? I shot Winny if that matters.

it's must be hard to miss the muscle. I inject once a week in my pecs and I never had any issue or problem. I find it the best spot with biceps and shoulder.
If you think you injected in subQ u should see it a bump in the skin.

Well I was nervous and only got about a 1/4 of the way in and just shot. My next peck injection will be much better, I will not be as nervous. There was a bump but I then rubbed it in and it went away. My question was what happens if you do subQ? Is that shot just wasted or will it have some effect or should I be worried about something I'm not aware of?
