Maybe the company went out of business. There are plenty of other waxy maize products out there, though; try Torrent from Universal.

it's fantastic stuff, i got to try out a free bottle of it, the only problem is that the shake ends up being thick as fucck because they want you to use 3 scoops and they're pretty big scoops.

do you add Whey to it? clearly it doesn't need any more EAA

yeah, I'm not a big fan as far as supplements go anymore, but Torrent would definitly be something ideal to have post-workout, especially during a bulking phase

no you shouldn't need any whey, the idea should be to down this shake and then eat a meal 45 minutes or so later, that's what i did.

NO!!!  It severely jacks the molarity of the WMS, which negates its main benefit.

The thickness is the WMS.  The Pure Vitargo, which IMHO is inferior to the TP.com brand, will turn to concrete if you dont drink it as fast as possible.

You can get the flavor packs from blackstarlabs.com IIRC, Dave, the owner, does a majority of all supp flavoring out there.  Alot of people dont realize that WMS has no taste, just a chalky mouth feel.

I only see 2 EAA's in there (out of the 9 EAA's). If you subscribe to the EAA pre/post workout theory I'd think you'd want all of them present at the same time.

This was Art Atwoods product line. He had the rights to Pure Vitargo but he got busted not too long ago. After he got busted, could not get the product anymore.

Waxy is 1/2 the cost of Vitargo and virtually the same thing. One comes from corn and one from wheat I believe and not sure why Vitargo would be twice as much!!

Vitargo is using barley now, I believe. The reason for the cost is, I think, that they funded the studies to show how it works. The studies add credibility to the product so they can charge more. AFAIK there are tons of different types of Waxy Maize and a company like TP can't really prove it works as well as Vitargo.

It is completely emperical here, but Ive used both and found TP's to be vastly superior.

That makes sense and I think I remember hearing something about that, vaguely.

But, I have used both and notice no difference from Waxy vs. Vitargo other than Waxy is a mess, like scooping out flour  :D

I assume you guys are refering to TP as True Protein? I am using IDS and so far so good...

How was it better? What I'm talking about is the speed at which it replenishes muscle glycogen. That's hard to feel. If you aren't concerned about this so much you might as well buy maltodextrin.

That is what Im reffering to, yes.  PM's Pure Vitargo reminded me of metamucil, both in texture and taste.  I didnt care for it at all.

Im well aware of the desired effect of the product, and I said it was empirical, I should've included subjective as well.  My apologies.  I actually just posted the main differences for me...

Pure Vitargo just got discontinued on bodybuilding.com but you can still find it on its original website. I have taken it with good results. Though, it is expensive. I switched to waxy maize starch.

I order Vitargo from Sweden, it's expensive, but it's the best stuff around for my athletes, and yes, better than Milos' "snake oil"!

In all honesty, I do not know. You can find pure vitargo here:

http://www.1fast400.com/p1780_Pure_Vitargo_Professional_Supplements.html   OR here

http://www.professionalsupplements.net/default.asp

I switched to waxy maize starch by IDS. The pure vitargo is too expensive.

They discontinued the line because it was too expensive to manufacture.  You have to think of all the ingredients that go in there.

Sure a lot had to do with Art Atwoods leagal issues. He has the rights but sure that will change now, then you will see it again. However, Waxy Maize is cheaper and more prevelant now.
