yep I agree.dude that played the dealer was busted just a few months ago for just that.Mickey has def juiced theres a low budget B movie I seen him in the early 90's and dude was jacked.He is as real as it gets unlike most hollywood stiffs.

agreed...thats because he's not a fake/PC type guy.he tells it like it is and that turns most people off.That being said he's a way better actor than some of the guys that are considered (Bigger).Tom cruise for example more popular? yes.. less acting chops? yes.

I would suggest his drug habit is what derailed his career for a time, rather than a lack of political correctness. Rumor was that Stallone wanted to help Rourke out and cast him in Get Carter, but the studio didn't want him. Supposedly, Stallone paid Rourke out of his own pocket for his work in the film. It's been said that Rourke mentioned it in an interview once and gave a lot of credit to Stallone for doing so, as it helped him get back on his feet.

yes.his drug habit did help the derailment.Overall the guy was just going threw alot of shit.He made his bed & had to lie in it.Me personally...?,,I identify more with celebrity's like this that have flaws & aren't afraid to show & admit it.Theres alot of actors with drug problems that also do alot of damage control to avoid being viewed as such.Mickey never hide it & is a straight up dude.

He did go a little overboard with the plastic surgery though. I don't know of any pro boxers who have needed as much work as he had done. A lot of it, including the hair transplant, was in the name of vanity, and unfortunately it went wrong.

his public support of the IRA didnt help his career much either.... i watched a few of his boxing bouts, wasnt the greatest, but not many actors would be willing to play up to there reputation
