Keep up your recommendations. I can assure you without a doubt that Hollywood (Producers, directors, casting agents) hit this Board frequently.
I also have to agree that Pit would not be an ideal He-Man or any other Super-Hero in fact. (Ahhh, might have been a great Silver Surfer though.)
But look what they did to Superman and it appears that the public accepted it.
If just one good looking yong bodybuilder ever took acting lessons, he would more than likely get a chance to be considered for many movie roles due to the current interest in Super-Hero movies.
But then again I was told that the average movie going US male will not take his date to a movie where the superhero looks better than himself. To me, that's a bunch of crock.
But one of the big rules in the movie business is to never cast an unknown actor based on his or her appearance. They say that casting is not a "fashion show". The first priority is that he or she has to "ACT" and be able to "Take Direction".
So..... if you got the look and the muscle, it could eventually pay big time to get out there and enter an acting school.
Addendum: The major stars do not want someone who looks better than them in the same movie that they are starring in. But there are exceptions such as when a bigger/better guy beats up the smaller "Star" in order to generate "sympathy" for the leading man. The old "bad guy" vs "good guy" ploy. There has been some of that in most every James Bond screenplay.
Pertaining to the topic at hand, I think that they should do a worldwide search for some deserving teenager who would fit the He-Man mold as per the original storyline and have a world class actor carry the movie as another character in the story ...... Sorry, but I am not familiar with the He Man comic to say who that character should be. But the script could be written in an effort to take a lot of the acting requirements off the He Man character.
Lots of contradictions in the above but Hollywood can do wonders if it really wants to.

By the way ---- 3D is coming back in force so stand by to get hit in the nose by whatever this new technique throws at you from the silver screen. It could even be the fist of He Man.
