Title: No one...
Post by: Rosicrucian on April 10, 2014, 03:49:04 PM
... in your life by your mid 40's...? Would you freak out?

I know a few guys in that situation. Never wanted to get married or got married super young now divorced, no kids. Still clinging to the "party mode" and "beast mode" lifestyle but you can tell they're starting to get uneasy. Each "next cycle" discussion becomes more and more pathetic and talking with them about family just seems to make them uncomfortable.

Friend of mine turned 40 this weekend and he brought up the "growing old alone" subject. The wheels were definitely turning. Still parties with 20yos but you can tell it's awkward even being in great shape and looking young. Drives a douchey car which he thinks "shows the world his lifestyle"... lol.. then right in the middle of the discussion a 26yo girl pops in while holding my son and tell him "hey you're 40, right shouldn't you be a dad or something by now? What's the wait".... you could feel the burn  ;D.

Cooled storied broed.

Aisha Tyler is a sad example. Always been promoting not having kids, "don't wanna bring a kid into this world blah blah"... then 41 hits and she's fucking dying to have a kid... fertility issues.

This isnt 1950 anymore, any guy in his forties or fifties with his shit together, single, money, athletic, no kids will have his pick on dating sites should he decide he wants to meet someone.

Slow day Alex?  No friends to hang out with, no women to stalk online?
I'm sure no one would love to trade places with you....an obese 40 year old friendless pathological liar who's married to the negro wife of someone he met online.

Rosi - you are evidently an out of shape guy with a fat wife and little shits for kids... But by god you aren't stuck miserable and having no one to keep you from sexing up the "26year olds"
Isn't it funny that the people who are so concerned with other peoples lives are the ones with the most fucked up lives.  Now go tell the little crumb crushers to keep quiet and tell that fat bitch to get you some dinner made !!!

no one`s got it made in the shade.

I bet he pulls mucho pussy, and could care less about getting married.

He also should start paying rent for the space he occupies in a few peoples minds.

Maybe, no one should stay in a shitty relationship just for fear of being alone. On the other hand, must suck waking up alone at 50+, no kids, no family to share with.

Sound good on paper but if you haven't got the partying out of your system by 40, kinda odd and will be regretted later.

I got married pretty late by US standards but would never do it any different. Enjoying time with my wife, loving and laughing with our kid is worth more than anything in the world.

Family, Career, Faith, Country, Freemasonry = happiness.

Im 32 and when I look into my future and see that I'm still single at 40. I think, motorcycles, boats, free time, no bills, banging some random single moms, doing whatever I want, going fishing all the time, breaking girls hearts.... Or I get married and have kids and trade in the bikes for a minivan and make sure I don't leave a dirty dish in the sink and have to jerk off to internet porn when the bitch wife finally falls asleep. Ya I'll stay single for now.

I know only a lucky few who have both. I'm just saying staying single isn't so bad. I'm sure I'll bed down some day. But still I'd have a lot more money being single then having a wife and kids.

At 32 you've got some time. Personally I didn't really know wtf I wanted until I turned 35 lol. The kid thingy, wasn't too sure. Now I wish I would've done it before.

Depends on what you want and if you find a good partner. I think it's in our genes to settle down.
There are genuine free roamers but in general a family is a foundation of life. If you're too late to make the change - sucks.
On a more positive note society's breaking down and the free for all is on... I think both sides carry a valid argument.

i cant figure out if this thread is dedicated to me or not.

regardless, i can speak up for the over 40 and single guy.

it's like this. im single because i choose to be.

i like being alone, and the older i get, the more i like it. i like having my own schedule. doing what i want when i want. want to go to vegas for a weekend? done. want to go to playa and party for 10 days? done. i dont need to 'ask' anyone if i can go. i just go.

but thats not the whole reason. im a loner. i am a guy who literally is happiest alone. i live in the bush w two dogs. thats all the companionship i need or want. i have group of core friends some who are married, some who are not and i am equally comfortable in either situation as i respect their wives as much as i do them.

some people get married cause they dont want to grow old alone. im at my happiest walking thru the bush with my dogs in complete silence.

im not an unattractive guy. women like me. a lot. this makes it easier for me to stay single. unlike wolkfox whos never had sex, i dont feel the need to get married cause i dont know when the next time im getting laid is.

not to mention im watching relationships fall apart all around me- people in their late 30's moving into one bedroom appartments and starting over from scratch like they were fresh out of school. who wants to deal with that? i get the milk for free. i see no need to buy the cow.

He's single because he is selfish. No One couldn't handle or sustain a relationship if he wanted to. He would need to overhaul his life completely. He would have less time spending in the gym, less money to buy homo under armour underpants hiked above his shorts, less money to spend on steroids, hgh, and other recreational drugs to fill his ectomorph body with. Less time to hang out with friends and go to the tanning booth with. Less time to pamper himself with $50 dollar haircuts at "Mr. Antone's Androgynous Hair Shop", pedi's and mani's. The best thing No One can do is not spawn anything from his ectopmorph genetics since the child would be without a daddy and be raised by some Euro-slut that can fill a fryer with the grease from her hair.

This is why Mr. No One remains single.

oddly enough this is quite accurate.

Most successful people are selfish, that is a fact. Lawyers, Doctors, CEO's, athletes, etc. etc. They have no time for anyone else but themselves. Can you imagine having a wife and kids and going to the Dairy Queen because lil' no one wants a Blizzard? Or going out to Pizza Hut cause its "that time of the month" and wifey wants a deep stuffed crust cheese infused pizza? NO! Look at Hollywood and all the Nanny's, is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie really good parents, I don't think so.

Gentleman, it is clear that the current system of weekly remuneration for mental real estate is beyond one mans ability. From now on, please forward your welfare cheques to me each week, and make them out to 'The man who I wish I was, clearly'.

I will sort the accounting and forward all monies via a watertight paypal chain, Steve Arce, Quickerblade, myself and then noone.

brilliant logic... most lawyers, doctors, and ceo's I know are all happily married... probably athletes as well.

can you imagine the board of directors hiring a ceo who's 45yrs old and single? lol.. doesn't happen.

a doctor who's single? maybe his first couple years out of school.

a lawyer? depends on what kind of lawyer... about 70/30 of the ones I know are married.

If you are an fat alcoholic with no money ,(because its going to be hard to get laid) I can see the point of being married.  Other then that, no way !Most of my friends are married and they are miserable.
Sure its nice to have someone but im not a person that needs someone to feel good about myself. If im around someone to long they start annoying me. Period! Its nice to be alone and decide whatever the fuck you want to do. Some people are made for a family life others don't ! I sure as shit don't..

:D :D

... in your life by your mid 40's...?

So fucking retarded and played out.....

When I was younger I wanted to get married, wasnt sold on having kids.

Now I see myself wanting a kid later on life, but not so sold on the marriage thing. I could see myself enjoying being a dad.

paradoxical.

Maybe ill adopt, wash some of these black marks off my soul.

I wasn't sold either on the kid thingy, just another "todo" on my procrastination bucketlist. But wish I had done it sooner now.

I think parenthood brings the best out of you; it's like some switch genetically programmed in you just turns on and makes you care more about the well being of others in general.

I was very fortunate to have a real A+ dad, best dude I know. Thats one of the deciding factors on me wanting to have a kid. I truly dont believe that I will live past 50, so thats a big hang up.

Just turned 40 and honestly have never felt that need to do the "normal" and go get married. Friend of mine is married and is so depressed from it literally his health is going down hill fast. Wife threatens to kill herself if he tries to get a divorce, and all the time threatens to take everything he has worked for. So, would I rather have his family life or my single life. Easy choice.

This a reality for a lot of people.

I know dudes that make 150k a year that live in trailers and RV's and single room apartments because of alimony and child support.

Women are fucking ruthless.

Gentleman, it is clear that the current system of weekly remuneration for mental real estate is beyond one mans ability. From now on, please forward your welfare cheques to me each week, and make them out to 'The man who I wish I was, clearly'.

I will sort the accounting and forward all monies via a watertight paypal chain, Steve Arce, Quickerblade, myself and then noone.

lol!
