This first debate is going to be very telling when it comes to the direction of the Democratic party.

So far the very vocal 10 to 20% progressive Bernie and AOC crowd is really swaying the message, as crazy as that sounds.

And that small portion of the party is dug in and will remain a thorn in the side for the foreseeable future. With the failure of the legacy media to control the narrative and the rise of alternative media voices with extremely loyal followings, that faction is here to stay and it is something the Democrats will have to deal with.

I didn't think I was complaining so much as noticing that the dialog was flat and less interesting without postings from antagonists. Maybe I've been reading the wrong threads. There seems to be an abundance of expression of different opinions on threads "bashing" Trump.

Either way, opinions seem rarely to change on Getbig. It could also be that my having been around here for as many years as I have, I've  become somewhat jaded.

I'll admit that I am looking forward to the possibility of his losing the next election or pulling out of it. I can also say that I don't have someone in particular in mind to take his place.
