GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - People lining up outside of Minges Coliseum ahead of President Trump's 2020 campaign rally tonight.

The president is expected to speak tonight at 7 p.m., but people have already started braving the heat in order to get a prime spot inside of the arena once the event starts.

WITN's Tresia Bowles said there were close to 1,000 people lined up at 11:00 a.m.

A heat advisory will be in effect until 7 p.m. so it is advised to drink plenty of water, wear light clothing and to use plenty of sunblock if you're planning to wait in line.

Minges seats about 8,000 people and those working the event say they expect every spot to be filled and they may have to turn people away at the door.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. for ticket holders.
