Trump Overflow Crowd So Huge It Has Its Own Overflow Crowd at New Hampshire Rally (Photos, Video)
Gateway Pundit ^ | February 10, 2020 | Kristinn Taylor February 10, 2020
Posted on 2/11/2020, 6:50:10 AM by

President Trump held a huge campaign rally at a jam-packed 12,000 seat SNHU arena in Manchester, New Hampshire Monday night on the eve of that state's first in the nation presidential primary.

Supporters started lining up in the cold and rain two days in advance, with several thousand remaining outside to watch the rally on a Jumbotron after the doors were locked when the venue hit full capacity.

Amazingly, there was an overflow crowd of hundreds apart from the overflow crowd of thousands outside the arena that gathered way across the street to view and hear the Trump rally on the Jumbotron from a distance.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/02/trump-overflow-crowd-so-huge-it-has-its-own-overflow-crowd-at-new-hampshire-rally-photos-video

 ;)

Meanwhile these democrat losers can't even line up a few bums on the street w promises of money to get them to listen to their nonsense.

My goodness man, really?  Everyone knows that it's edited.  It's why facebook and twitter both told Pelosi and her team to get lost when she asked them to pull it.

The editing shows, on a case by case basis, what she tore up.

The individuals, their accomplishments, the reuniting of families, the giving of scholarships.

It was edited for EMPHASIS.

I was super close to posting something similar last night but then deleted it and knew it was pointless when replying to Prime.

Except that video Trump posted has be doctored and is therefore a lie which he didn't hesitate to spread. She tore up her copy of his address alright, but she did it when the State of the Union address had concluded and not when people were being honored. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Donald Trump's State of the Union address a "manifesto of mistruths" after appearing to rip up a copy of his speech as the event ended. Anyone who doubts this should watch the full video.

Black Workers’ Wages Are Finally Rising Their pay is increasing after a decade of stagnation. One man’s story shows the hope — and limitations — with that shift.
New York Times ^ | February 7, 2020 | Jeanna Smialek and Ben Casselman
Posted on 2/11/2020, 2:15:06 PM by karpov

PHILADELPHIA — On a brisk January morning Markus Mitchell arrives at his desk at 8:30, his phone ringing before he can even log in to his computer. An employee at the giant nonprofit where Mr. Mitchell works is locked out of the organization’s network and needs the 24-year-old’s help.

Mr. Mitchell became a full-fledged employee at JEVS Human Services in Philadelphia in October, after a year as an apprentice. Just three years ago, he was making $13,000 working in the kitchen at a Chick-fil-A, feeling unsure about his future. Landing the $38,000-a-year position was the latest step in a rapid career ascent made possible in part by America’s record-long economic expansion and low unemployment rate.

President Trump frequently celebrates the experience of black workers, noting correctly that the group’s unemployment rate is at its lowest on record.

Their wages are also going up — a New York Times analysis of government data found that wage growth for black workers has accelerated recently after lagging for much of the decade-long economic expansion.

But when Mr. Mitchell looks around his relatively low-income and heavily black neighborhood, he worries that the rising tide of a strong economy has not been equally good for everyone in his community. And when it comes to his own labor market gains, he’s working hard to make sure they do not prove fleeting.

A malignant reality lurks beneath the happy surface as black workers finally make job market progress. Not only did the gains take a decade of steady job growth to materialize, but they could evaporate at the first sign of economic weakness, as they did after previous expansions.

In April 2017, Mr. Mitchell quit his low-paying job, hoping that he could achieve a better life.

Trump Smashes Turnout Record for Incumbents
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | February 12, 2020 | Rush Limbaugh
Posted on 2/12/2020, 3:36:28 PM by Kaslin

RUSH: You want another shocking bit of news from last night’s turnout? In fact, let me find a graphic here. Trump turnout — and he wasn’t even contested — dwarfed the Democrat turnout in Iowa, and it happened again last night in New Hampshire. In fact, here’s a breakdown of some numbers. Trump’s record-breaking incumbent voter turnout. If you are an incumbent and you are unopposed, there’s no reason to show up other than to show your support. I mean, your candidate doesn’t really need you because he’s already got the nomination locked up.

Last night 118,774 people showed up to vote for Donald Trump, 118,774. And they found a bunch of them were Democrats, a bunch of them are stealth, they hadn’t identified them before. I mean, that number is close to what the turnout was for the Democrat candidates who were actually in a contest.

But here’s some even starker comparisons. Obama, who was running in 2012 unopposed, this is the New Hampshire primary, Obama 49,000 votes. Trump, 118,000. In 2004, George W. Bush, incumbent, unopposed, New Hampshire primary, 53,000 votes. Bill Clinton 1996, 76,000 votes. And Reagan 1984, 65,000 votes.

Trump is dwarfing every previous incumbent president so far in turnout and votes so far in the Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary. It equals enthusiasm, and it equals, I think, a very energized level of support. And I think much of it — not all, obviously — but a significant percentage of it is driven by the never-ending, ceaseless hatred for Trump throughout the Drive-By Media.

I think the Drive-By Media is actually being counterproductive for their own interests. I think they are creating Trump support. They’re not hurting Trump. They are creating more and more Trump support among people who otherwise wouldn’t even be motivated to go out on a night where Trump’s election is not even in question.

But these are people that want to go back and show the mainstream media or whatever it is that’s angering them that it isn’t working. There’s so much enthusiasm for Trump out there, it’s gonna be hard to tabulate. But on the other side, NBC News exit polls showed last night voters between the ages of 18 and 29 made up only 11% of the Democrat electorate, 18 to 29, Millennials, made up only 11% of the Democrat electorate, far below the 19% of 18 to 29-year-olds who voted in 2016.

Now, we keep being told that the Democrats have all this enthusiasm, they hate Trump, it’s just about beating Trump, we gotta find anybody that can beat Trump. Trump’s gotta go, Trump’s gotta go. The Democrat Party doesn’t care who, they’re so energized, they hate Trump, they hate the name calling, they hate the mudslinging, they hate the tweeting, they hate Trump, they hate him, they can’t wait to get rid of Trump. There is no such enthusiasm. At least it isn’t showing up in Iowa, and it didn’t show up in New Hampshire.

Bernie Sanders percentage of the vote that he got — I know he was only opposed by Crooked Hillary back in 2016, but it doesn’t matter. Bernie Sanders, his support has dropped off the map. He barely ekes out a win last night. He wins, it counts as a win, although Buttigieg is still leading in delegates. But the enthusiasm for Crazy Bernie is even waning. How do you explain that?

Like I said yesterday, the Democrats are offering solutions to problems that no longer exist. And boy, is that ever true of Crazy Bernie.

The libtards always miss the boat.  The 1980's was a boom time under Reagan and the libs were constantly whining about the homeless problem and that "everyone wasn't experiencing the same success" like that could ever happen.  Once the 1990's came around they called the 80's the Decade Of Greed!  Like not being in poverty is a bad thing.

Reagan and Trump are the 2 best presidents of any of our lifetimes and the libs hate them both.

Agreed.

Paul Volcker, the Fed chairman at the time, knew that this had to stop. He took extraordinary measures to stop inflation, pushing interest rates to historic highs. By 1981, he had driven the prime rate to 20%. The high-interest rates caused a genuinely horrific recession. The recession of the early 1980s was slightly worse than the Great Recession of recent memory. Unemployment peaked at 10.8% in 1982. In comparison, it peaked at 10% in 2009.

Ronald Reagan, to his credit, stuck by Volcker’s tough medicine even though it was not in his political interest. Reagan’s poll numbers dropped into the 30s. A lesser President would have fired Volcker or publicly criticized his actions. Reagan did no such thing. He knew that inflation had to be contained and knew it was in the long-term interests of the country to beat it.

The tough medicine worked. Inflation was defeated. As inflation eased, we were able to reduce interest rates for nearly 40 years. The bond bull market has benefitted almost every U.S. asset class for the last few decades. We have been reaping the benefits of Paul Volcker and Ronald Reagan’s tough medicine for decades.

Great article - finally a bit of refreshing honesty from a democrat.

This article is near perfect, except for a few things.

However, the sad part is that the author had gotten to the point of assuming things about people due to their political beliefs.  There are so many more like her that won't break free.

This was a good paragraph:

Quote
The reality is that many people I spoke to do disagree with Trump on things. They don’t always like his attitude. They wish he wouldn’t tweet so much. People who are in cults don’t question their leaders. The people I spoke with did, but the pros in their eyes far outweighed the cons. They don’t love him because they think he’s perfect. They love him despite his flaws because they believe he has their back.

Howzat! Record crowd expected for Trump at India cricket ground
Yahoo ^ | February 11, 2020 | AFP

More than 100,000 people are expected to pack into the world's biggest cricket stadium later this month when it is formally opened during a visit to India by US President Donald Trump, officials said. Workers in Ahmedabad are rushing to finish the 110,000-capacity Sardar Patel Stadium, which will overtake the 100,000-seater Melbourne Cricket Ground as the world's biggest cricket venue. Trump is due for a two-day visit to India on February 24, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to host him in his home state of Gujarat. The spectacle has been dubbed "Kem Chho Trump", or "How Are You Trump", according to officials.

More than 6 in 10 Americans say they feel better off after first 3 years of Trump, poll finds

A recent Gallup poll has some encouraging news for President Donald Trump as his battle for reelection heats up: more than six in 10 Americans say they are better off than they were three years ago when he took office, and about the same number credit him for the improvement.

No incumbent president in the past three decades has enjoyed such a high percentage of people feeling better about their situations. In 2012, when former President Barack Obama was in the White House, 45% of Americans told Gallup they were better off than they were three years ago. In 2004, 1996 and 1992 the number was 50%.

In the survey, 61% said they were better off, 36% said they were not and 3% said they were about the same.

And a strong majority of Americans (62%) said Trump should get credit for improving the economy. Thirty-seven percent said he deserves a "great deal" of credit and 25% said he deserves a "fair amount." Nineteen percent said he should not take much credit and 18% said he deserved none at all.

DONALD DOES DAYTONA
Powerline ^ | FEBRUARY 16, 2020 | JOHN HINDERAKER
Posted on 2/16/2020, 7:07:04 PM by Hojczyk

In what many deem a stroke of political genius, President Trump served today as Grand Marshal of the Daytona 500 NASCAR race. He vowed to take a lap in the armored presidential limousine serving as a pace car, and did. Here are two short videos that show some of the action:

https://twitter.com/FOXSports/status/1229135814946410496

https://twitter.com/NASCARONFOX/status/1229137604593037314

As you would expect, the president got an enthusiastic reception from the crowd of up to 200,000. NASCAR is famously patriotic, and Trump is a patriotic president. That may turn out to be the most fundamental difference between Trump and his Democratic opponent in November.

In 1972, I was discussing the upcoming presidential election with a friend from college. Both of us were on the left at the time, but my friend summed up the race succinctly: “Nixon is going to win because he is for America, and McGovern is against America.” It depends somewhat on who wins the Democratic nomination, but essentially the same dynamic will be on display this year
