So the thought of a govt agency perpetuating a little violence to keep their paycheck is completely insane.

But the thought of the US President purposefully sinking the world economy - that's rational?

Medvedev (as well as every other major world leader) has been walking all over Obama since he took office. Of course he wants Obama to be reelected.

240, #1 Obama c0cksucker, once again trying to derail a thread. Shocker!

Exactly.  Why wouldn't they want the Appeaser-in-Chief to stay.

This.
240, You try to be the devils advocate, but youre way off here.
Obama is that sad pathetic kid trying to buy friendship with the kids that cant stand to be around him, bribing people that dont like him with the keys to his house and a map to his gunsafe (Not to mention being so naive as to not think the kid is going to mock him and tell everyone everything as soon as he leaves).
Why the eff wouldnt the Russian leader want someone in office who will get down on his knees and give them everything they demand because the pathetic bastard is so desperate to be friends!?

This is getting stupid, Obama is making our country the laughinstock of the world.
We were better off being hated and feared than we are being mocked and looked at as pathetic and weak.

Reporting from Seoul— U.S. politics combined with diplomacy as Russian President Dmitri Medvedev took a swipe at Mitt Romney and President Obama, pointing to an uncooperative Congress and a toxic political environment at home to explain why he was delaying negotiations with Russian leaders over missile defense.

Romney, in a CNN interview Monday, had referred to Russia as "our No. 1 geopolitical foe," prompting Medvedev to tell reporters here that the Republican front-runner's language seemed out of date and "smelled of Hollywood" stereotypes.

"Regarding ideological cliches, every time this or that side uses phrases like 'enemy No. 1', this always alarms me," he said Tuesday in remarks broadcast on Russian television.

"All U.S. presidential candidates" should "do two things," the Russian leader said. "Use their head and consult their reason" and "look at his watch: We are in 2012 and not the mid-1970s.
