i have to go with ronnie on this one.
he had it all - mass, thickness, peaks, and definition.
also he had massive tri's, although they lost their way a little towards the end of his career. they were still big, but lost shape.
a complete arm.
for complete arms you have to mention lee priest too 8)

I just did that list up randomly, even though all those guys have outstanding biceps. I think there are others who are just as good, like Phil Heath, Larry Scott, Paul De Mayo, Mike Francois, Dean Caputo, Sergio Oliva etc.

Arnold and Ronnie have to be top here, as far as biceps. Theirry's pic is incredibly impressive as well and I wouldn't have initially thought of him in this thread.
If Arnold was on the stuff BBers use now, imagine what he'd look like. I actually prefer his physique in the 70s than many of today's BBers anyway but you can't really compare guys from decades apart.

Colemans biceps were very small, but had good peak and splits. Arnolds size and peaks were awesome, but zero details.

FYI genius guys with high peaks like Coleman, Schwarzenegger, Beckles and Robinson do not have the same volume as someone with lesser peaks like Levrone-it's just part of the territory. Nothing to do with Coleman in particular.

Incorrect as usual on your part. There is no comparison between Arnold and Coleman on arms; Coleman's arms were superior in all aspects. It's actually striking how similar Arnold's arms are to Gunther's.....great bis, and that's about it. Coleman had great tri size, outstanding separation from the front, and forearms that were not as far out of proportion with the upper arm as Arnold.

i agree with you but most of bis with peaks are not so big!!.. Flex and chris had good biceps but nothing special, same as most of the other pros.. but because biceps with peaks are rare they are sepcial..

In 95 he outweighed him by 10 lbs I think, and is destroying Yates in the top picture. You can actually see his hardness in the photo, unlike Yates.

Detail on the long head was not as good for a start, and how do we know when the synthol started? Granted probably not 93, and I'm not taking away from the photo. Just seems like in the pic below ROnnie got the hardness and detail on Flex, plus more size.

that is so fucking lame when people do that, hijack threads, or ideas for posts from one forum and just bring it right over to another, like no one is going to notice.............to me there is something so lame about that.
before i joined this forum, and used to lurk around here and MD.....i used to see it all the time.........a few members that are very active on here, who apparently think their posts or someting they came across was so crucial, that it was up to them to bring this information to an opposing message board.......its like intellectual plagarism.
