I stopped reading/following news in Venezuela ever since maduro took office
This is precisely one of the news stories I wrote to TNYT about... A few years ago I read that infant mortality rates in Venezuela were "greatly overblown" in The New York Times, so I wrote to them that they weren't overblown at all and that they (as well as the author of the article) were to look at the infant casket numbers that were making their way through the Colombian border because the Venezuelan government 1) prohibited hospitals from releasing infant mortality rates and 2) prohibited any funeral entity from talking about the matter. EVERYONE in Venezuela was forced into silence. Meanwhile, the local Colombian woodworking companies right next to the border were making a killing (no pun intended). It wasn't because the Venezuelans didn't have any money, it was because they were being forced into starvation by an animal of a human being.
There are now recorded cases of cannibalism in Venezuelan jails as well as in remote villages.
People are literally being starved to death by communism.
And what did TNYT have to say about it 3-4 years ago? Not much. Usual socialistic bull shit story.
NOW (to save face instead of coming out and apologizing for covering up the obvious) they're putting out 6-page reports, now, that the carnage is close to culminating and the communism massacre is about to take a violent turn. NOW.
