Not much good to say about Sweden today...

In the 70s and 80s though, it was one of the best countries to live in in the world (imo)

Metallica's Death Magnetic & St. Anger were really a forgetable period for the band.

They came back pretty good with Hardwired. Some great songs on it. Here's a good deep cut:

I don't get the hate for those albums. Metallica was willing to change their sound through the years and that's why they remained popular and grew a bigger and bigger fan base while groups like Slayer stayed the same.

Don't get me wrong I love Metallica. They will always be the GOAT of Metal. Lately I have been listening to a lot more of Anthrax, and Megadeth and think overall those bands' entire discography is a lot more interesting.

I like Hardwired a lot, On DM - The Day That Never Comes is a twin of One and the video is super intense. I actually prefer St Anger to Load and Re-load. And then there is that Lulu mess. Yikes.
