Springsteen may be overrated a bit because he's always been a favourite of the rock 'n roll press (Rolling Stone etc.) but the Boss is still a legend tho.

The Boss was pretty damn good in the 70s, when he was young and hungry for success. But one of my fav tunes from him is "Tunnel of Love" circa '87

Yeah Tunnel's a good album after the bombast and excess commercialism of Born In The USA.

Springsteen has a deep catalogue of music spanning 35 years so to put him in the same category as bands who are one album wonders is ridiculous. But over the years, the rock 'n roll hype machine has probably hurt him more than helped him.

Shit lyrics, yes. Overrated, maybe. But they were still a great band, awesome live performances, an awesome acoustic concert (mtv unplugged), and they had a lot of good songs, not only "nevermind" songs. I think Smells like teen spirit was/is overrated, but not the band itself.

during the live performance cobain stomach hurt so bad he couldnt stand - he made jokes about fckn up songs and wasnt kidding, he was waitin to fck up and walk out, but he played gr8 and had meatpuppets there, one of best unpluggd since clapton, jayz - cobain was an artist all Im sayin

i bet van gouge was a douche to be around and micheangelo was prob a homo grabass but art is art

The Rasp in his voice and the pain in his lyrics are what made NIRVANA GREAT.

I will never forget getting to see them and only being 10 but the way he could belt out lyrics for being so little.

I mean, when Harbaugh had a interview with the Dolphins, Stephen Ross (MICHIGAN ALUMN) and Dolphins owner interviewed him because he wanted him to go back to coach at MICHIGAN. Stephen Ross could have Mary Sue Coleman fired though.

There is a reason as to why the Dolphins took Jake Long #1 and Chad Henne in the second Round.
