If they attack the South, it could go like this from what I've read:North Korea already has agents and saboteurs in place and would prob them up with special-forces who would reach the South via submarine. These are basically suicide squads.At the same time all their artillery is focused on Seoul and they would hit the city with gas as well.While at the same time troops will flood into the South via a network of hidden underground tunnels.The North however only has enough fuel and stored food to last probably at most 3 months in an offensive.They may have many troops, but many would probably not even have guns. Their vehicles and anti-aircraft equipment is also very outdated.They would be able to do massive damage on the South and probably wipe out Seoul, their aim would be to take control of the South as quickly as possible before America sends more troops from nearby such as Japan.However, there is no way they will be able to last an American invasion unless once again China steps in.
