OUCH! I had a friend who was a Nuclear Reactor Start Up Engineer ... a very smart guy.

And he always claimed that Nuclear Reactors were designed to withstand earthquakes of a certain magnitude and Californians should not be fearful

I forget what that magnitude was and the hell of it is that he passed away before the reactor problem in Japan so it wasn't open for discussion.

But I assume that you can get this type of information off the net someplace.

there is a forum i go to from time to time, and they predicted both these earthquakes, and the ones in ireland, a month ago. i guess ill take them more seriously now.

Didn't notice them, and Irish media especially is backwards. Front pages of Irish newspapers feature English celebrities relationship problems each day. And nobody can say anything bad about immigrants
