Bent-Over Laterals - 4 sets
Crunches 3 X failure

Short & sweet.....very little rest between sets!!

Superset
10 sets dips weighted with 90lbs.

Walked 5 miles.

After training back today and before starting my bicep work:

First try = 65 lb curl with my back flat on the wall @ 132 lbs bodyweight . Easy money !

Training partner did 185 lbs @ 237 lbs bodyweight with ease.

No belts, no singlets, no baseball caps. So dumb.

Nice one GR that’s a shit load of pressing. Yeah this weather is nuts. At 7 it was -9 windchill -27. It’s warming up now -4 and windchill -21.

I heard that famous weatherstation on a mountain top (New Hampshire or Vermont or somewhere similar, I forget the name) set a new record recently with -105°F lol.

Yeah mt. Washington. Watched some video footage from up there and it looked crazy. Also warming up nicely here 2 degrees with -14 windchill so not bad.

I am wearing so many sweaters (jumpers for the English readers and BRITISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONS) that it looks like I have a bhanks pregnancy gut. The strict curling was easy and so ghey. It's as embarrassing as Fallsview following you around the board trying to get in your pants.

I'm off to the paint store now. The chickens spent their first night outside last night in AZ. Apparently they did okay. I'm going trail running later so no lifting today.

Started a new program this past week.

Week one of these things usually tests 2/3 or 5 rep maxes to build the working poundages to be used in subsequent weeks.

Day one had 2 rep squat, followed by the dreaded 2 rep zercher.

Then, it was 8 rounds, every 2 min of 15 sec max wall ball (about 10 for me) then 30 sec iso hold at parallel squat.


The next day was DL, followed by a conditioning circuit that called for goblet squats......my legs said "nope".....so I've decided to do two weeks of lighter weight work and running to see if it fixes this.

I'm in NH.
Sometimes we still have snow in July up on top of Mt. Washington and some others.
This year we've been lucky, hardly any snow at all and mostly in the 40's...

In about a week I will become Getbig's first official "elite" strict curler.  No homo (technically allowed to be kinda homo).

More importantly I will try to be at Silverstone in August for MotoGP. Then I can determine if my legs are longer than Darren Avery and give Henda a roundhouse kick and a few thousand uppercuts.
