Anyone notice that eventually, usually in middle age, many of these gurus become angry, gossiping psychos? Talking shit about people, butting their nose in other people’s business, and bitching about how other people work out, of all things, and that others don’t take their advice?

Trigilli is the worst. A gossiping whore. He doesn't even have his own content for the most part he talks about other 'influencers' videos.

MPMD- used to have good content but lately he's basically a gossip column too. I guess once you've used and discussed every stetoid known to man- and you still look average- there's not much left to do but talk shit about others.

Carter is an asshole. He was an asshole on the old Power and Bulk forum before he got famous and is still an asshole. He's one of those #300-500 mg HRT guys that would claim clean and short stroke reps so he could claim big numbers, and then get mad when called out on it.

He hitched his boat to Wendler and Rippetoe back then with the whole "teach you how to be a man" schtick. The difference was Wendler was enjoyable enough to look past the schtick.

Carter presents himself as a perma-angry spoiled teenager. I’m so not into quack psychoanalysis (“you must be secretly gay”) but for some time I thought Carter was homosexual because he has that perpetual, bizarre anger I often see in homosexuals. He has these posts in which he seems very angry while presenting information and correcting others’ applications of exercises as if this stuff was the ultimate achievement of mankind (“front squats aren’t the best for quads!”).

I’ve seen Lyle write stuff online that would possibly get his head caved in offline if said to the wrong person, which is nervy for a skinny guy.

They were really just getting bored, and stopping the exercise. Lyle poked at them a bit, and Israeltel's response was something like "Lol, Fuck Lyle." Meanwhile a lot of the other smaller gurus were choosing up sides. Some were in agreement that Isrealtel's failure was laziness, some said Lyle didn't understand failure, and some just smiled and stayed out of it. A little were also like "yeah, it's bullshit, but Mike is nicer than Lyle." in private.

Well Lyle goes into autism mode, and produces a series of something like 30-40 videos calling him out for it in minute detail. I forget how Israeltel responded afterward, but I think it was another sort of "Fuck Lyle" again, and then he went quiet.
