A bully? No, she told him to behave. His laziness was part of the reason why they split.

Yes, her bullying may have been required.

There are some IFBB officials like Jim Manion and others who bully bodybuilders.  It may be because the bodybuilders are lazy, but I think it more relates to Jim Manion having psychological issues and enjoying bullying people who would vastly stronger than him.
