Okay .....I've read a million posts about how Jay dominated everyone....OR how he looks like a fridge....OR....that he didn't have the conditioning......OR that Dexter beat him (a guy who's what.....30-40 lighter??) OR.....that ROnnie beat him.....
So what does Jay need to do for next year to keep the crown?
I personally feel that if comes in around the same weight as he did on Saturday......maybe a bit lighter....and show a bit more of the conditioning that he had last year....he's unbeatable.

The same thing would happen if Ronnie had won. Subjective
sport. The Ronnie fans hated to see him better than Ron. The Vic and Dex guys hate everyone but Vic and Dex... The pdi guys are pissed off the contest got judged fairly screwing up there plans... The cutler fans are happy he got the win... etc etc. The vast majority who where at the show and have no ax to grind said Cutler deserved it. But then again it is a subjective sport so a good case can be made for Dex, Vic, and Ronnie also. I think Jay deserved it. Ronnie was off this year.

I think he will need to trim his waist just a little and he will stay a force to reckon with.

Were you at the show on Saturday?? If so...do these pictures do these guys justice?? Or was the lighting much better than what these pics show?

Man.....I would agree but how the hell do you trim a rock hard waist?? You play the size game and the waist grows.....to trim it down, he'll have to drop about 10 lbs.
If Ronnie does compete next year, Jay will have no choice to have to match him as best he can.

Jay can be easily beaten by Ron in 2005 condition.
Jay has so little detail in much of his body that he looks average.
Look at any front pose side to side between him and Ronnie.
I can show that to any bum int he street and you know who they are going to say is "better"
I'm not a RC fan so much as I am disappointed that the title has gone to someone who just isn't impressive. Ronnie is a better freak. Dexter Jackson is a better aesthetic guy and Victor is a good "inbetween guy".
Jay is just another fridge with worse genetic detail.

But if Jay drops about 10lbs and trims his waist it will greatly improve his symmetrics.

My point exactly body88, compare that pic to a pic of ronnie doing the same pose. His biceps will be hugely detailed, you'll see more detail in the shoulders, more obvious triceps, maybe striation in the chest, some veins atleast.
Watch the olympia video.. he's a fridge.

My point exactly body88, compare that pic to a pic of ronnie doing the same pose. His biceps will be hugely detailed, you'll see more detail in the shoulders, more obvious triceps, maybe striation in the chest, some veins atleast.

Well I respect your opinion. I thought Jay looked really good. he is no flex wheeler but I think he deserved to win.

Not much he can do anyway. He gassed himself catching up to Ronnie in the last 5-6 years. Lets get one thing straight, He BEAT RONNIE.................. not the rest of the field. Every year there has been the complaint that this is the jay vs ronnie show which it was this year. Jay has one to Ronnies eight. Jay was the better bodybuilder than Ronnie on Saturday. But why is there the feeling since then that next years Olympia is wide open? Because Jay did not DOMINATE the rest of the field. He just beat Ronnie by a big margin finally.

Like I say, he's just not got the genetic detail of ronnie.

If Ronnie comes back with revenge...he will own him badly.
If Ronnie doest,Victor ,Dex and the others are not far from Jay and can take it from him.
I think the next couple of years might be really intresting ,we might get a new champ every year...which is kind of sad actualy ...the crown will lose it prestige :(

i don't think it'll lose its prestige at all. i think its boring as balls seeing the same guy win it every year. there's no excitement. and fans wonder why the sport is on the decline. jay's win was a much needed shot in the arm.

dude just watch the finals video clips..jay looked harder than coleman if not vascular..jay pwned ronnie left and right..no contest.ronnie looked soft as hell during the night show..sorry ronnie you lost fair and square

its good to see that Jay did something about his glutes...He for sure has had them etched....Long over due...In 2001(his best condition) you could see the cellulite on his ass...He has had that taken care of and it payed off..

But he had what it takes to chase the title year after year without blinking an eye, now didn't he? He has nothing to prove, he is not Rocky Balboa...
