Rocky soundtracks (I, III and IV), Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, all good workout music (and yes I'll throw in some funk as well)

lol.
bluto..you are more likeable as of late...
whatever floats your boat.

i have had soem really good workouts listening to funk music in the past.

my favorite is late 70's early 80's funk/hip hop though...

but sly and the family stone, james brown, tower of power..these all work well as well. they are more for like an arm day..not legs or back or chest..

You forgot Slave, Con Funk Shun, Rick James, Prince's early stuff, Morris Day and the Time, Parliament, Roy Ayers, War, Isaac Hayes, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Blackbyrds, Curtis Mayfield, William Devaughn, and a host of others.

James Brown was good towards the early to late 70's. Tower of Power had a good horn section, but they were hit or miss, they were best when Lenny Williams was lead singer.

No music or some hard rock, metal for gym.
When I do cardio at home I have a DVD with all the club videos with nudity or sex and I watch that..... my heart beat easily stays at 150-160 and the time just flys  ;D
