He didn't have the striations or separation yet; but his quads were definitely huge at 19

Doesn't look like either man pictured could bench press 5 plates on the hammer strength. Just saying.
-
Pro level doses too

Yeah, it looks when he started bodybuilding, he just hit the ground running in all aspects of it.

Yeah, Thanks to Chris Aceto

Jay was and will ever be blocky. At least, a young coleman had a great line.
-
his abdominal shape was also ahead of its time

Jay certainly brought a lot of mass, but should have never won any top level pro shows IMO. Wide waist and poor aesthetics. Sorry but for me he is by far the worst mr O. Seems like his success was more political, but to his credit he seems like a decent guy.

There were def times that he nailed his conditioning though

How did Jay afford the chemical warfare and the coaching?

with quads like that , who needs a wife

LOL
I do believe that he was dating Kerry at the time of the first pic

Who cheated first Kerry or Jay? Did they swing with the Tituses? Did Jay really mail his shit to Ogawa the japanese super schmoe?

I wish that I didn't read this

Yes. The package weighed exactly 45lbs and contained mostly sashimi shits.
Ogawa's mother accidentally got a hold of the package, opened it and
lost a lung plus all sense of smelling... specialists say she will never fully recover. :(

tell us more about this Ogawa

My vote goes to Franco being the worst Mr. O, but that's just me

Gyno, short, and bow legged with no cuts. But at least his upper body (only the chest for some reason though) was shredded...

Certainly a valid opinion. Franco has an odd shape to me and a fairly wide waist too. His win was definitely shady at the very least.

From what I heard Kerry worked two jobs while all jay did was lift.. It paid off for her in the long run I guess. She got hers in the divorce
-
Yeah, Thanks to Chris Aceto
Funny on rxmuscle he stated in the ask aceto thread that he just does the diet has I idea about drugs and dosnt tell them what to talk.
Some of the guys where asking well how is that possible the drugs will directly effect their diets yet he swore he does not tell they what to talk nor anything about drugs
Don't they call him the "chemist"
I also talked to amateur he trained for the USA and he told me what he had him on

With Chris Aceto being married to Laura Creavalle during her days a a Ms Olympia competitor; and being Michael Francois' & Jay Cutler's GURUS.... There is no way possible that Aceto doesn't know about the drugs

Had that "H" frame from the get-go.

i was thinking the same thing. I wonder if that guy ever turned pro?

You are irascible :)
Point-of-fact, I don't doubt that, at that point in time, Jay would've had a very easy time of 5 PPS on the standard Hammer Iso-Incline. I know you like to lampoon Phil's strength or lack thereof, but didn't he do pretty well in that chickenshit Weider v. Muscletech bench press challenge?
You know, the one in which Nasser did 15 perfect reps with 225, then racked the weight and practically ran offstage? (I am NO Nasser fan -- I think he was a huge asshole in general, a man who delighted in misdirecting people -- BUT I have to give him a bit of a break here: his 225x15 was not only perfectly executed, he racked the weight long before he seemed to slow down. I.e., I'm sure he could've done a bunch more. But he did lose points for making up some stupid Ninja excuse for his lackluster performance instead of being the "Wizard of Truth": after the challenge, he said something about how he wasn't used to "low reps" and was more accustomed to benching "about 600" for reps ::) ::)
Phil smoked Nassoil in that challenge and his reps were, if not full-range, at least somewhere between touching the chest and lockout.
Phil might be a relative pussy in the gym, but most of the people taking his piss don't have a lot of room to talk. The kid IS all drugs, but I'd bet good money that he'd outbench any critics here in one of Palumbo's Bros V. Pros challenges :D

thats a fair assessment. These guys for the most part can all bench over 400 pounds and I'm sure they don't really care after that. I think WE all care about how much they bench more than they do.

The problem with Jay is that the average schmoe will only think of him standing next to the G.O.A.T.
Though, he was absolutely amazing in his prime and definately one of the best ever

I wonder if he did an article after that titled 'How to put 2 inches on your arms in ten minutes'

Guy on the right actually looks better
it seem that the main problem in all sports, the ones with the real genetics and talant ofen step aside an let the ones with less talant catch up bcz they are more motivated....talanted people never got the will or strive, thats sad.
-
well Coleman got it and we all know what he did with bodybuilding, greatest ever!
