I can appreciate that some tattoos are very artistic, and I can also understand that for some people, a tattoo has special meaning or represents something important.

What I don't understand is why a man who earns his income displaying his muscles, covers those muscles under so much ink they're hard to see anymore. With some guys it's hard to tell when they're on stage and covered in pro tan, but with Lee Priest, it's very noticeable. Shame - he has a great physique - you just can't see the details anymore.

People can't see the bigger picture.  They get all these tats now when their bodies are fantastic and constantly shown off, but what about 20 or 30 years when their bodies "ain't all that"?  At that point all you have left is an aging, sagging body covered in weird ink that no one wants to see.  No credibility is given to those types of folks even if they are completely credible. 

I agree that some tattoos can be very artistic and others can be very personal and meaningful, but what Lee Priest and other bodybuilders/wrestlers have permenantly marked on them is just strange.
