You all seem to have missed my point. The post was in response to anabolichalo's. He used the term "mascular" which I'd never heard before. An Internet search brought up the Mascular Magazine website. If he got the word from this seemingly gay website, you should probably be asking him the same question I did in my response to him, which was, is this his idea of what masculine and muscular represents? By the way, the magazine is from England. I thought I remembered that anabolichalo lives in England. Perhaps he posed for some of these "artsy" photos.

Sure it occurred to me. And to your credit, the second definition of mascular in the Urban Dictionary supports your take on the word. However, the primary definition says it is a gay term. So in fairness to you, I will concede that unlike me, you didn't do your research before you posted the reply which started this whole thing. Perhaps you honestly didn't know that it is a term primarily associated with butch gay men. The truth is, until you peaked my curiosity with your post, I had never heard the expression before.

If you don't like images of naked men, I recommend you not click on the links since all of them but the one to the Urban dictionary contain what most folks would view as homosexually charged photos. What is interesting, to me at least, is that the links I posted are first page results in order of the Google search I did. This suggests that aside from the one exception "mascular" is a gay term.

I should just let this issue go now. Sometimes I get caught up in being the detective who acts like a bulldog until something is resolved. I honestly think A'halo made a mistake.
