Yes, I know I need to diet down a "few" (*several ;D ) lbs.
I'm 55 and she's 53 and life is more fun now ,despite being older...go figure.

I feel pretty lucky. We have a nice 4 BR home on 5 wooded acres with a stream.

Neither of us wanted kids, so we never had any.
We have 3 rescue dogs and plenty of woodland wildlife to keep us company.

My inner secret shame is to diet down and compete in the OPEN class in a regional show by next summer.
I may need to get all the way down to 199 and compete as a Lt hvy to be ripped.
But, WTF, most of the guys will be 20-30 yrs younger.
Oh well, gotta diet and hit that cardio for a few months...yikes
