I know there are always going to be some people that are insensitive to animal suffering but just suprised to hear any man put down a grass roots movement that has only done good things for the world and for animals.

Christ, take everything you read with a pinch of salt, especially if I say it in jest. I'm the last person who'd hurt an animal. I won't be militant or fight for animal rights or anything, but I sure as hell won't hurt them either. Most of what I say is for a laugh.

I was doing shoulders today. On to my fifth exercise which is shrugs. So here I am near the rack on my 3d set, holding aprox 40kg (aprox 88pnds) dumbells in each hand doing a full motion, pausing for a sec-two at the top for 15-20 reps to max.

Here comes this guy. Prolly around 16-17 y.o. with his high-school buddy. I kinda spotted him when he was curling some shit loaded barbell growling when I walked in. Anyways, he sees me shruggin, checks what weight I'm using, comes to the rack next to me and grabs 42kgs (aprox 91 pnds) and does shrugs: the whole 5 reps-half motion-bending arms half way set!:) Growiling like a bear in mating and pulling a really scary face.

I finished my set and stood aside to give him some room. Seeing I'm watching him he immediately grabs those 42's and does (oh glory) yet another 4 reps, half swinging, bending his arms in elbow, growling and then drops those dbells on the rack, goes "yeah!!", quickly looks at me, then puffs out his chest and walks towards his friend...As he passed me I said, smiling "well done, mate, well done!". He pretended he didn't hear that and walked away from the floor.

I took a glance around the weights area and saw two of the regular muscleheadz, looking in his direction: one smiling, another shaking his head. I then went back to the rack, grabbed my 40's and went on with the exrecise.

Havent seen this guy in the gym again.
