The most of my friends are split. mainly due to loyalty to the Crown. the Biggest Argumentation from pro independent Scotland is our very Rich Oil Fields. Cameron, our prime Minister was seen recently having "Quite" talks in Scotland about the Oil Fields. Cameron is a shame to the whole UK.

I did a little digging and came to the following conclusion:
The Scottish situation has nothing to do with the clarity or temperature of my pool. Therefore I will cease to care about it....

I still haven't a clue what way I will be voting. I still want the Queen to be the Queen of Scotland just like she is Queen to the commonwealth countries including Canada, Australia and all the rest.
The currency is the big issue. If we share the pound with the remaining UK then we will be tied to the same interest rates and tax bands as the UK so we will not have true fiscal and monetary independence.
The second issue is the fact that most Scots are employed in public sector jobs which attract the typical lazy public servants with their generous pensions and sick pay entitlement. There are far too few entrepreneurial Scots staying in Scotland with the drive and ambition to put our natural resources (mainly oil reserves) to good use.
We are a bit of a lazy nation to be honest which is a shame considering that Scots have invented pretty much everything in the world for the past few centuries.
If I had more faith in the ability of those in Scottish government then I would be more confident.
One thing is for sure though. The English government do not want Scotland to leave. This is why they are saying that Scotland cannot use the bank of England pound if we go independent. Pure scare tactic. The bank of England is a private bank who can allow anyone to use the pound (it was founded by a Scotsman). There is no way the bank of England will refuse to allow Scotland to use the pound because Scotland's GDP per head of population will be much higher then the rest of the UK. Prime Minister Cameron the fud knows that without Scotland the remaining UK will be economically weakened. Otherwise, why is he so keen for us to stay?

Dont confuse the history with modern scotland, most of the great thinkers got the fuck out of scotland, pre 1900.
Pound per pound, the only group that can compare are the dutch, but they faded just before the industrial revolution.

What the fuck are you talking about? The parliaments of Scotland and England joined together to form the United Kingdom in 1707. They had already formed the union of crowns in 1603 when the King James of Scotland became King of England too.
England does not rule Scotland and never has. Even the fuckin Romans couldn't occupy Scotland and built Hadrian's wall to keep the nasty Scots away from them. The Romans sent a Legion of soldiers North in a final attempt to add Scotland to the Roman Empire 2000 years ago and the Italian cocksuckers were wiped out to such an extent than not a single bone was found when the search parties went up.

We have always had a more sensible less liberal outlook than the south of England I think. If we leave the UK then we leave the EU immediately as we are not a member state on our own. This is great news because the Eastern European immigrants would not be able to move to Scotland any more. We also would not have the guilt of the English Colonial times which has led to former Empire country citizens being able to move to UK from India etc.
I'll tell you this for sure. There are plenty Pakistani and Indian folk up here and they generally behave themselves. There was a Terrorist attack at Glasgow airport a few years back and the Paki bombers who drove thru the airport wall with their petrol bombs were murdered and /or severely beaten by the good Scottish holidaymakers before the Police even arrived.

Being an observer who is a Yank, I can see parallels to Quebec. Every couple of decades Quebec makes noises saying they want to be separate from Anglo Canada. This would be a mistake. As a nationality Quebec would be greatly diminished separate from Canada as would Anglo Canada be diminished by the separation of French Canada. The whole of both is very much greater together than separate.
The same situation is true for Scotland.

Scotland will instantly become one of the richest countries in the word per capita and England will be down the shitter. And of course the arrogant arseholes kept saying right up until last week the Scotland would not be allowed to use the pound as a shared currency. And now the arrogant kunts are having to eat humble pie as sterling starts to nosedive.

The Scottish secessionists will do two things once independence, or a transition period, is declared: 1) Impede the exodus of assets in Scotland owned by the new Scottish nationals (including corporations,) and 2) Impede further secessionist movements within the Scottish nation. This is exactly what happened when the Ukraine unilaterally declared its independence and quickly launched an illegal land-grab of epic proportions, not giving a hoot as to whether the people within the country really wanted to be Ukrainians.
