It took Hillary Clinton five days to issue this statement about Harvey Weinstein: "I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein. The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior." The statement made no mention of returning contributions from Weinstein."

I hope he gets sued into oblivion
I just came back here with hopes someone on this forum would get into this story.
Harvey W. is a complete shit-bag of a man.
This crap has been going on since the inception of the Hollywood movie studio.
They used to have a phrase called "the casting coach" where sexy , new starlets, would entertain a producer.
I know it's inevitable for people to bring in politics on this stuff.
BUT, I wish they'd just focus on the sick behavior and see that this creep gets justice.!!!!
Well maybe if he didnt donate MILLIONS to liberals and lecture everyone on issues . . . .

EXCLUSIVE: Trump's Justice Department moves on Harvey Weinstein and orders FBI to open probe...

Full Title: EXCLUSIVE: Trump's Justice Department moves on Harvey Weinstein and orders FBI to open probe over fears he will 'do a Polanski'
The FBI has opened an investigation into Harvey Weinstein, DailyMail.com has exclusively learned.
DailyMail.com understands the move came at the behest of the Department of Justice, run by Donald Trump's Attorney General Jeff Sessions, which instructed the bureau to investigate the mounting allegations leveled at the movie mogul.
While it is unknown whether the DOJ order came directly from Sessions, the move is likely to be seen in a political light given Weinstein's friendship with Trump foe Hillary Clinton.
The move by the DOJ came amid rumors that Weinstein plans to head to Europe for sex rehab – leading to fears of a Roman Polanski-style situation where he dodges prosecution in the U.S.
The FBI can both look at whether he has committed any federal crimes in the U.S. and prepare extradition proceedings if he remains in Europe.
Among the allegations against Weinstein, which the FBI is expected to examine, is that he forced Lucia Evans, a student who wanted to be an actress, to perform oral sex on him in New York in 2004.
New York State has no statute of limitations on rape and criminal sexual acts - its legal term for forced oral or anal intercourse.

Clinton then conducted an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria, clips of which aired Wednesday night, in which the former presidential candidate said she would re-donate the money she received from Weinstein, but did not specify where it would go.

Charlie Rose accused of sexual harassment by 8 women
NY POST ^ | November 20, 2017 | Danika Fears
Posted on 11/20/2017, 5:59:55 PM by COUNTrecount
Eight women have accused TV journalist Charlie Rose of sexually harassing them — including groping them and prancing around naked in front of them, according to a new report.
“It has taken 10 years and a fierce moment of cultural reckoning for me to understand these moments for what they were,” Reah Bravo, a former intern and associate producer for Rose’s PBS show, told The Washington Post. “He was a sexual predator, and I was his victim.”
The women, who range in age from 21 to 27, described several incidents of sexual misconduct, including Rose groping their body parts and walking around in the nude.
Bravo said she was groped multiple times by Rose, who would also appear naked in her presence.
One time, she was flying on a private plane with the journalist when he pressed up against her, Bravo said.
“I felt at a loss. I mean, what am I going to do? We were how many feet up in the air?” she said. “I remember him being on top of me.”

Charlie Rose Suspended By CBS, PBS and Bloomberg Amid Sexual Misconduct Claims

Charlie Rose
The Washington Post spoke to eight women about Rose's conduct toward women who worked on his eponymous show.
In response to a Washington Post report detailing multiple accusations of inappropriate conduct, PBS and Bloomberg announced on Monday afternoon that both companies will stop distributing Charlie Rose's eponymous show, Charlie Rose. The nightly show is produced by Rose's company, Charlie Rose Inc.
Separately, CBS announced that Rose is suspended from his role as CBS This Morning co-host. "Charlie Rose is suspended immediately while we look into this matter," the network said. Rose is also a contributing correspondent for 60 Minutes.
"PBS was shocked to learn today of these deeply disturbing allegations," the organization said in a statement. "We are immediately suspending distribution of 'Charlie Rose. ' ... PBS does not fund this nightly program or supervise its production, but we expect our producers to provide a workplace where people feel safe and are treated with dignity and respect. "
In a statement, Bloomberg said: "We are deeply disturbed to learn of these allegations and are immediately suspending the show from airing on Bloomberg TV."
The Post spoke to eight women for the story about Rose, which focuses on his treatment of Charlie Rose employees between the late 1990s and 2011. None of the women worked for CBS or PBS, according to the report, and PBS, CBS and Bloomberg all told the newspaper that "they have no records of sexual harassment complaints about Charlie Rose."
"Most of the women said Rose alternated between fury and flattery in his interactions with them," the Post reported. "Five described Rose putting his hand on their legs, sometimes their upper thigh, in what they perceived as a test to gauge their reactions. Two said that while they were working for Rose at his residences or were traveling with him on business, he emerged from the shower and walked naked in front of them. One said he groped her buttocks at a staff party."
Rose addressed the allegations in a statement to the Post and to reporters following publication. He said: "In my 45 years in journalism, I have prided myself on being an advocate for the careers of the women with whom I have worked. Nevertheless, in the past few days, claims have been made about my behavior toward some former female colleagues.
“It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate. I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken.
“I have learned a great deal as a result of these events, and I hope others will too. All of us, including me, are coming to a newer and deeper recognition of the pain caused by conduct in the past, and have come to a profound new respect for women and their lives.”

This statement right here that just dropped pisses me off more than anything else I have read so far in 2017.
This guy starts off talking about "being an advocate of women for 45 years" ANNNNNND follows that up by apologizing for his inappropriate behavior towards women!!!!
How the FUCK are you a "advocate" for the careers of women and yet you have to apologize for your disgusting behavior??
These people aren't even human beings.
The sooner they are all ran off of television and erased from our daily consciousness the better.

REVEALED: Top Democrat Paid Off Sexual Harassment Accuser With $27K In Taxpayer Money

A leading Democratic congressman settled a wrongful dismissal complaint for more than n$27,000 in taxpayer funding after he allegedly fired the staffer because she would not “succumb to [his] sexual advances,” according to a new report.
The congressman, Michigan Rep. John Conyers, is described as a serial sexual harasser who would prey on his female staffers in sworn affidavits signed by four of his former staffers. BuzzFeed News first reported the bombshell allegations and accompanying settlement after right-wing blogger Mike Cernovich provided the website with the documents.
One former female employee filed a complaint with the Congressional Office Of Compliance in 2014, alleging that she was fired for rebuffing Conyers’ sexual advances. It was that employee who eventually received a $27,111.75 settlement in 2015, in exchange for a confidentiality agreement. The congressman did not admit to fault as part of the settlement agreement.
“In her complaint, the former employee said Conyers repeatedly asked her for sexual favors and often asked her to join him in a hotel room. On one occasion, she alleges that Conyers asked her to work out of his room for the evening, but when she arrived the congressman started talking about his sexual desires,” BuzzFeed reported. “She alleged he then told her she needed to ‘touch it,’ in reference to his penis, or find him a woman who would meet his sexual demands.”
Conyers regularly made sexual advances on female staffers and would ask them for sexual favors, according to the affidavits signed by his former staffers. “Rep. Conyers strongly postulated that the performing of personal service or favors would be looked upon favorably and lead to salary increases or promotions,” one former employee said in an affidavit.
He also allegedly abused taxpayer funds to shuttle in women with whom he had sexual relationships.
“One of my duties while working for Rep. Conyers was to keep a list of women that I assumed he was having affairs with and call them at his request and, if necessary, have them flown in using Congressional resources,” one affidavit states. Another staffer told BuzzFeed that Conyers, who is the longest-serving congressman, used taxpayer funds to fly women into see him.
The bombshell allegations come just days after it was revealed that the Congressional Office Of Compliance spent $17 million of taxpayer funding on harassment settlements, including for sexual harassment.

That last little part is the key.
This whole ordeal does not end with the Congressman representing the 13th District of Michigan.
How many other Congressmen have this sort of arrangement?
If they really have a fund set aside to squash sexual harassment cases this thing has the chance to go Chernobyl.
Drain The Swamp Indeed.
