A new report says that the advanced Cadillac CT6 plug-in hybrid will be imported into the United States from its Chinese production facility.
According to Bloomberg, while the CT6 will be produced at both the marque's Detroit-Hamtrack Assembly Plant and in China, only the Chinese facility will be tasked with building the plug-in hybrid variant. When importation of that model commences, it will become just the second GM model imported into the U.S. from China following on from the Buick Envision.

The CT6 starts at $55,000, but you don't pay extra for the made in China label.

It's really sad to see how far Cadillac's fallen. It sounds laughable today, but in the past, Cadillac was on par with Roll Royce. Then came the Cimarron and now made in China.

I believe the Lincoln Continental Mark II was. It was hand built.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continental_Mark_II (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continental_Mark_II)
The Mark II sold for around $10,000,[6] the equivalent of a new Rolls-Royce or two Cadillacs (at least until the $13,074 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham out-priced it in 1957). In spite of this, Ford estimated they still lost over a thousand dollars

Cadillac has actually become what BMW used to be.
And this CT6 that is built in China is the plug in hybrid---because China is a big market, they want to get in over there and build momentum. Cadillac's ELR extended range Electric car is not doing too well over here.

No doubt, who the fuck would buy a Cadillac anyways? Look like turd blocks on wheels.

Chinese restaurants shut down after seasoning food with opium to 'hook' customers
By Siobhan Fenton 1/22/2015
35 restaurants across China have been found illegally using opium as seasoning in their food, state officials say.
Five restaurants are being prosecuted over the findings, whilst 30 more are under investigation, according to the China Food and Drug Administration.
The eateries include a popular chain of hot pot restaurants in Beijing.
It is unclear how the opium came to enter the food, however, previous cases in China have seen chefs try to ‘hook’ customers on their food through use of the narcotic which can cause serious addiction.
In 2014, a failed drugs test led Shaanxi provincial police to uncover a noodle seller deliberately lacing meals with opium.
In 2004, a string of 215 restaurants in the Guizhou region were closed down following similar charges.

Would you really trust China to make your $55,000 luxury car? ::)

The Buick Envision will be exclusively made in China and imported to the USA. :-\

Do they get their opium at bulk pricing rates?
It seems like a costly overhead investment to get return business.
