Funny, I forgot the tuning company on top of my head, but they are building a 335i drift car as we speak.

There is a Japanese firm that either has a 335 or a M3, either way, they took the engine out and replaced it with a Japanese I6, and the forced induced it with 500+ hp.

So far looks like just 135is and no 1M, they have a new M marketing pres. that wants the M cars to be more "affordable," and youth oriented.

Yeah, exactly, so either the 1M will be part of the next gen 1series line up, or they are effing with people. The 335is was said to be a bridge between the 335i and the M3. So what would a 135is be a bridge to? The 128, 135i are the only 2. A 135is would be almost if not as fast as 335is, because the 135i already matches the 335i...something is fishy.

Funny thing is the drift car isn't using the N54 motor, but using either the V10 from the M5 turbocharged or the E46 S54 M3, but turbo, weird!

I believe that, I hope they sort out those high pressure fuel pump failures. They are supposely using the new twin scroll N55 motor in the 335IS, I love the new 4.4 TT in the 550i :o

Have you seen the E30 M3 with the V10 crammed in it?

The only time I ever drifted is when I bought a Ford Fiesta for 500$ and I just drove the shit out of it and crashed it on purpose.

I wouldn't do it with a nice car.
