Basically I agree with this. Big age differences come with big inequalities: experience, income, goals, self esteem, etc. Very few such unions are healthy and enduring.

I agree.....My daughter is 21, if she dated a guy who was as old as me or 23 years older then her, I would be furious.I would beat his asss and terll him to get loss pervert.What does someone that is 23 years older then you and you have in common besudes working out.

I agree Bay, in most cases. Although I look young enough and can pull a 27 year old, it's usually too much of a gap as far as life experience goes. Great for a temporary thing, but not for something enduring. There are always exceptions to the rule, but those are usually few and far between.

I know John's daughters. One of them is a server at a restaurant I used to frequent when I lived in Indianapolis... she's 25 and a real sweetheart. She said her Dad is a bit crazy and she does not like this girl that he is currently dating. She also told me that Shelly Beaty (sp?) was her favorite compared to any of John's other former wives/girlfriends.

Who cares about the age? She isn't 18, 19 or 20. She is 27 years old, and knows enough about life to understand what she is getting into. She likes Jon, and if they want to get married, by all means. Let them be happy. Way to many people who are close to their same age end up in divorce. So if they find happiness in this crazy world, so be it.

As for John and his ramblings, Jon always plays by the people whoever pay him his paycheck. Such is life. Calling people names was just uncalled for. But then again, John was always one of just liked to push the buttons on whoever. Shock value.
