Hang Snatch
« on: June 19, 2008, 01:48:12 PM »
What a great exercise, did those last night for the first time in a while.  5 sets of 5.  what an awesome TRAP/YOKE builder!  Gonna start throwing those back into the ole routine, along with cleans and deadlifts for thicker traps/upper back.

Do A lot of you folks do those as well, the hang snatch?  THe lift now, LOL

The head football strength coach at OSU really likes them and did them at least once a week.

Weren't you doing them in your routine for awhile? Did you feel stronger in your overhead presses?

Try throwing one arm DB snatchs as well on the day you don't use a bar. Both are great as a first exercise to excite the CNS before moving on too supplimental work.

Done the right way, it won't effect your RC. Imagine pulling the weight out of the floor and through the celing.
