That is a pretty good summary of what is happening there.
I don't know, but it seems to me that maybe phil could do that pose differently and it would look a bit better. Maybe something where he doesn't bunch up so much.

maybe dex isn't flexing his chest, and Phil is?
Some of the greats let the chest relax in that pose.

Yeah Phil is doing it differently tran Dex. Phil is contracting his chest but Dex is not, letting the fullness of his chest be exposed, it's quasi-throwback pose, to the way they used to do it, except Arnold and the boys used to highlight the height of the chest.

i don't know how anybody can say he is great when he has no chest
how can you be considered a great bodybuilder without a chest?

Dex's chest looks proportionate in the most muscular, but Phil's just disappears.

Phil is awesome and all but damn hes narrow hes just not wide at all, and thats just genetics for ya, I dont believe he can ever be mr o he doesnt have enough width

the real problem with warren is that his tanning always makes him look incredibly bad looking, unatractive, and lets say it like it is, ugly.

I feel Phil destroys Dex in that shot, and in the side chest too. He's much better from the rear also and actually has calves.

Its the judges decision at the end of the day, and big arms and calves dont win contests ...

phils quads glutes and hams are all seperated....
and u cant say oh but he trains them and they just wont grow its not his fault
and u cant say his quad seperation has gotten better over the years ....coz its still shite

like splitting hairs these 2,good rivarly and each have there share of fans of who's better.i think heath is a beast and dex is solid but now stagnant in terms of what he brings to the table,but i guess its good enough.

If he had a better chest, he'd have won this show going away. It's just that in many of the poses, Dexter had him on chest, and phil's weakness became very apparent.
Look at Dex's shoulders and chest - they are years better than Phil's here...

I don't agree at all. We saw at the ASC than Phil is clearly outclass for the moment when it comes to muscle maturity and the overall hardness of the physique

i disagree.....its they way they are posing differently from one another
imagine if flex wheeler could jump into other guys bodies ( shite posers...e.g Dillet )and pose with their body... think how good he would look... compared to the actual guy posing...
infact imagine dex posing with phils body and vice versa
dex is totally relaxing the shown pec and keeping his shoulder ball and socket joint up high so that the delt is spread smoothly over the bone
phil is lowering his shoulder which makes the delt appear smaller coz its not spread all over the bone...
he is also contracting his chest too much and not bringing his should back and up enough to spread the whole pec out.... ;)

phils whole lower half is better ....look at that pic his hams are well bigger and his hams glutes and quads are more separated ....we also know that his quads are better separated from the front aswell
and dex has no calves.....so phils lower body is totally superior
i cant say that about dex as far as upper body is concerned

his chest is not seriously small its average if not better
phils not even started and dex is almost finished with mature old man muscle and he still just beat him
phil has a well better lower body which dex cant reach ....

I have about the same problem said about me, My PENIS IS TOO BIG FOR MY BODY!!--DOCTOR"S said it belongs to a 7'5" amazon man weighing aroung 600lbs.---its good back scratcher though..the problems i have WHEW!!!!

it looks like phil heath is going to the ronnie coleman school of posing, when he learns how to pose better he will look so much more complete...
dex was always gonna win the ASC this year, but when phil brings up his lagging parts (chest AND POSING) he will be great. wont win the O but will win almost everything else ;D
