you may "love" family members but do you really love them enough to get them to love 'beings' other than them

even if animals are 'lower' beings shouldnt we love them enough not to endorse the killing of them

people say they love there family and it has some meaning but deep love for one another and others should be more profound if you possess or want this ability. with great love comes great reward, how do you expect to get the real great rewards that may or may not exist if you dont show great love?

when we see an animal our first instinct isnt to kill it, it is to watch and study it or chase after it or play with it, why cant we be more aware of what our instincts really are instead of following an old pattern

How would you address the issue of other animals like lions, bears etc being carnivores. discuss.

we cannot or have lost the ability to communicate to lions, bears ect to not eat meat in order to potentially convince them of more healthy life-span increasing alternatives

I am all for a plant-based diet for those who choose to go that way. I can do without the holier-than-thou, condescending speeches. One well-meaning lady once told me that we were "robbing animals of their true potential" by eating them. I responded with, "So you are saying that if wasn't for humans, the average pig could be a C.P.A. instead of a B.L.T." Everyone in class except for her, and the queef professor, laughed.
