first off, i haven't read the book but i've heard that it is as good, if not better than, Foley's first book and Pure dynamite
secondly, it's a known fact that Bret was too much of a mark for the belt
It is pretty good. Bret notes that he carried a tape recorder all through his career and it shows in the thoroughness of this book. I think he tries to be honest, too, but (naturally, I suppose) he kinda carries himself a bit too much. Anyway, it covers the time period and all the characters of wrestling that I remember, so I liked it for that. Best match I ever saw was him and Curt Hennig going at it for 30 mins+. Just amazing. Hey, it may be fake, but, shit, it sure is entertaining and it sure ain't easy.
