In this era of YouTube and almost universal computer access, education should be dirt cheap. There is an amazing amount of free education on YouTube. Stanford, Yale, Kahn academy. It's the credential you pay for not the learning. Learning is free and very cheap and accessible.
There was a time when it looked like the internet was going to a good source of information. It is to some degree. You just have to wade through a lot of sales pitches these days and info tends to be 101ish. The good old library is still where it's at imo for anything more than a basic overview. Sadly.
Like recently: Earth augers - hex drive vs square drive. "Yes, we can supply those! And adapters!" You can find nothing about advantages/disadvantages, why you would select one or the other. Nothing but people wanting to sell you shit. And I'd buy from the guy willing to provide a comparison. I bang my head on this wall all the time. Abrasive compatible hoses with regard to material, weight, and bend radius. Pumps - actual non-biased comparisons by someone without a dog in the race. There's nothing. Just "ours best & best price, u buy nao!" Ugh.
Cool of these schools to upload tho.
