Title: Mentzer brothers............

Can anyone out there give me the staight dope on how these two great bodybuilders died?  Within days of one another?  I actually saw Mike pose at a seminar in the late 70's.  Very thick....insane calves.

I think mike died first of a heart attack and then Ray-well there's lot of rumors-not to sure what happened.

They both apparently dabbled with non performace-enhancing drugs.

I have read more than once that there was a lot of METH involved...

very weird. very tragic. I wonder how differnent bodybuilding would be today if Mentzer bros and Momo B. even Paul Demayo hadnt passed away.

The day after completing the filming of his latest training video, Mike was found dead by his brother Ray at the Los Angeles apartment they shared. Two days later, Ray, who had been undergoing regular kidney dialysis, was found dead at the same apartment.

After Mike died, Ray didn't go to any of his dialysis treatments..  He died from it..
