So 3 actors explicitly put in those positions, not for what they really believe, but because they met some criteria for this organization to run them....nice. ::)

They are controllable.

They said they would primary Dems, even if their beliefs coincided with the justice dems.  Because they want to control the gov't.

That's the theory anyway.

It's odd that the dems are accepting this. I assume they figure as long as justice dems don't indetify as Republicans, they're OK

I find it interesting that they are called justice anything given that all of their views are extra-constitutional. It's orwellian level newspeak/doublespeak.

Ocasio-Cortez de-listed from board of Justice Democrats after controversy

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., reportedly has been de-listed from the board of left-wing activist group Justice Democrats, following legal and ethical questions about her affiliation with the group.

The Daily Caller reported that Ocasio-Cortez, along with chief of staff and former campaign chair Saikat Chakrabarti, have been removed from the board of the political action committee after previously holding “legal control over the entity" in late 2017 and early 2018.

The Daily Caller had reported earlier this month on Ocasio-Cortez and Chakrabarti's role with the PAC, noting that the congresswoman never disclosed to the Federal Election Commission that they "controlled the PAC while it was simultaneously supporting her primary campaign." Former FEC officials said at the time this could represent violations of campaign finance law.

It was Justice Democrats that helped catapult Ocasio-Cortez from obscurity to an upset primary win over then-Rep. Joe Crowley to an election win in November. The group runs a recruitment program by which activists can nominate grassroots candidates for office to challenge incumbent Democrats, and Ocasio-Cortez gave her support to that push in a video in January. The group has also backed her on issues such as "Medicare-for-all" and the Green New Deal.

I would say the Justice Democrats and Our Revolution have been somewhat successful in that they have seated leftists like Ro Khanna, AOC and Illhan Omar(among others). They also have helped their agenda by forcing mainstream candidates to move left in their positions.

Overall I think it's terrible for the Democratic Party. The gains they made in the 2018 House was based largely upon more moderate Democrat candidates edging out tight races. Moving left likely will turn off some of those same potential voters and leave them sitting at home or even pulling the lever for a good Republican candidate.

I hope it doesn't happen til after 2020.  Honestly, everything that needs to be out there about her for right now is there to find.  I think Fox and all us conservatives should just STFU about her until about 3 months before the election.  Then let the shit fly when they don't have time to come up with a new plan or puppet.

Even getting one congressional seat is a major coup.  It shows that machine can be manipulated.

Do I think they'll be able to get hundreds?  No, unless they had candidates pose as moderates to get elected.   But it does show how some far fetched "take over the US" scenarios could actually happen.

I think it's a faction not to be taken lightly(that of organizations such as Justice Democrats, Our Revolution and alt-media content producers such as TYT, Kyle Kulinski, Jimmy Dore etc.

These social media and alternative leftist channels have the advantage of being able to really establish their roots and grow their platforms, particularly with the younger crowd.

And they hold their elected representatives to task as well. I recall not too long ago Ro Khanna was beginning to veer towards taking moderate positions and they had him in line very quickly. They promoted Ro and helped to get him across the finish line and he was on their platforms apologizing within a few days.

I think something similar is happening with AOC. She was very well known and promoted in their circles for months before the election but I don't think anyone gave her much of a shot of taking down such a formidable heavyweight like Joe Crowley.

I think once she won, they pretty much were and have been in her ear constantly behind the scenes because the same stuff she spouts(New Green Deal, Free college, Affordable housing, Abolish ICE, etc etc) is all they ever talk about. These shows are carbon copies of each other and she is basically a puppet furthering their progressive agenda.

I think Michael Knowles does a good job breaking down what is likely going on behind the scenes with AOC.

WATCH: College Students Say Ocasio-Cortez, Not Pelosi, Is Face of Democratic Party
Fox News ^ | 3/20/19
Posted on 3/21/2019, 4:53:54 AM by Libloather

Is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi losing her grip on the Democratic Party?

Students at Georgetown University apparently think so.

Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips visited the campus in Washington, D.C., to ask people about the intra-party struggle between the old guard, like Pelosi (D-Calif.), and more progressive, far-left lawmakers like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and her outspoken freshmen colleagues.

Students were asked: “Between Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who do you view as the face of the Democrat Party?” The results went overwhelmingly in the freshman congresswoman's favor.

“She’s got the people. We’re in a time of extremes, she’s pulling pretty far to the left, I think people are going to like it,” one student said, and another added, “She represents a new progressive thing that’s pretty prevalent on college campuses.”

Agree.

The trouble for them is, she is incapabale of holding her own without being spoon fed.

She's a disaster off script when challenged.  So many gaffes that get ignored.  Evenutally it catch up to her when she gets truly embarrassed.
