Now we want to help over throw the Syrian government when by all accounts radicals will take over. If we picked winners by protest we should have armed the occupy Wall Street hippies.

over a dozen nations have ADMITTED they have chemical weapons... others may develop them more quietly. so we cannot assume what syria is using came from iraq.
state dept admits iraq got their chemical weapons from rumsfeld... syria could have just as easily gotten them from us. I dont see the white house jumping up to accuse iraq, or to take credit, so we'll probably never know.

There was no religious extremism or Al Qaeda in Iraq under Saddam. Toppling Saddam was great for Al Qaeda though, great strategic positioning, great for the wests energy needs, and great for the military industrial complex.
