We supported the uprising in Egypt and got the radical Muslim Brotherhood that quickly supported the killing of Christians and burning of Churches in Egypt. Now we want to help over throw the Syrian government when by all accounts radicals will take over. If we picked winners by protest we should have armed the occupy Wall Street hippies. 

Maybe causing chaos and destablisation is the point?

Bush stated that Iraq had moved weapons to Syria. The media said he didn't know what he was talking about. Surprise, surprise the media lies again. My only beef with this is we keep butting heads with other countries, and for what? over a dozen nations have ADMITTED they have chemical weapons... others may develop them more quietly.  so we cannot assume what syria is using came from iraq. 

state dept admits iraq got their chemical weapons from rumsfeld... syria could have just as easily gotten them from us.  I dont see the white house jumping up to accuse iraq, or to take credit, so we'll probably never know.

Motives (on all sides).  Assad and the rebels knew what would happen if chemical weapons were used.  The United States and Israel have shown interest for year in toppling governments they don't like.

Forgive me for being apprehensive about causing the death of more innocents.  We caused the death of hundereds of thousands in Iraq, and created another generation of people who rightfully hate us.

I don't think its outrageous at all to demand proof.
