Getting to the finals and losing is not a great, legacy-boosting accomplishment.   It's better than not making the playoffs or losing in the first or second round but that's about it.  If it was a big deal, as you contend, then how is Magic inferior to Lebron?  Magic went to the finals 9 times out of his 12 years in the NBA?  Nobody cares when you lose, they only care when you win.

He's out of this world until the final minutes of close games in the playoffs, when the defensive intensity is turned up, when players wake up from coasting through nearly 100 games previous in the season, anyone who has played basketball knows how often plays are taken off until it matters.Its the players who themselves can wake up and go up a notch, Lebron lacks a gear or two.

The only Q is whether they can maintain this level of intensity into the 4th quarter.  LBJ was too tired to make the final game winner in game 1.  it may come down to that again.

At the very least, the whole 'cavs have no chance' should go out the window.  They share the ball when irving (today's iverson) isn't playing.

Yep the cavs routinely hold top level offenses to not even 60 points thru three quarters......and it's quite normal for curry to miss almost every shot he takes. All cavs right there. Oh, and that wide open missed dunk was all cavs too. Good point.

warriors hit 8 of 10 three-pointers when they have the lead and they're laughing and feeling it.

when they're down by 9 points, they get scared and nervous and every 3 is too strong.

I love this game... everyone hated on the cavs, doubted them.  The series doesn't even begin until the home team loses.  Barring a CLE collapse (which could still happen, ugh, GS is streaky yet crazy good 3's), it'll be 1-1 and everyone will have to accept it could be 4-1 CLE winning the series.

One stat that really stood out to me - how many of the Cavs lineup had WON a championship after LOSING game 1 of the Finals.  Something like 4 or 5 of them, going back to the Mavs title.  so these guys didn't melt after losing game 1, but they did learn they can dominate GS on the boards, they can out-D them.... let's face it, warriors play that weak ass west coast defense where you just have to score 120 to the opponent's 109 in order to win.
